Newcastle Utd, a very poorly run club.
Not surprised Keegan walked away from this one. Why would you want to work with such idiots like Ashley and Wise ?
I'd walk too if Ashely and Wise are buying and selling players behinds Keegan back. Why would anybody want a puppet manager position at such a club when you have no input on decision making and will get over-ruled.
Newcastle selling the talenteed youngster James Milner to Villa was probably the last straw for Keegan. Clearly Ashley/Wise don't have the ambition to match Keegan's, so theres no doubt that Keegan staying on is just a sheer waste of time
I feel sorry for the fans. Because they ain't gonna be a manager who would WANT to go to NU after the way they treat their managers. Unless Wise steps in, but he was always their to undermine Keegan anyway...

My thoughts exactly. Whilst I wasn't so keen on Tyneside disappearing up Keegan's backside back in January, I do feel for the guy when the chairman keeps meddling in the team selection.
