What was your 1st PC game?

command and conquer.

then i had to wait 4 months for mum to pay for a cd drive and sound card upgrade.

happy days playing doom in the meantime!

Bolder Dash on the commodore 64 or Planetoid on the BBC Micro. It was a very long time ago and I can't really remember which computer I had first.
I do know I bought so many computers back then. Now so poor.

Wolfenstein 3D on my 386 sx with 2 MB ram. I found the shareware version on my bosses PC at work :D

All my Amiga mates were very jealous at the 360 degree turn, rather than the old 4 point turning system.
I then paid over £100 for a 2MB upgrade to play DOOM, and they were even more jealous and all bought PCs shortly afterwards.

Those were the days...

Same here. Pretty sure Wolf 3d was my first game too.

Also remember Wing Commander - came on something like 20 floppy disks - oh they were the days.....

Wing Commander II came on 14 DD disks! I remember well as the shop was out of the HD version (7 disks).

Seemed like a lot of disk swapping and an awful lot of disk space at the time (about 13MB) IIRC.

Nowadays GRID comes on a dual layer DVD and needs a whopping 12GB! LOL.

First ?

.... chuckie egg ? on this acorn thingy ?...

First game i properly got into... that star wars game ?

Dark knight ? hmm. something like that, i'll dig it out !

oh first ever computer game was probably asteroids or some other coloured filter swapping fun on my mate's vectrex.

My first computer was an Amstrad, all my mates had speccys and I could borrow one whenever to play my favourites Chaos or Rebelstar.

But still Ultmia Underworld was the first game I eventually played (after figuring out and editing the autoexec.bat and config.sys files) on an intel PC.
