Leaving WoW for Warhammer?

And that looks incredibly simplistic and like a boring spamathon tbh. If thats what PvP has been reduced to these days I really don't know what to say.

Was there to show the difference between the stupidly boring and slow paced War pvp and WoW's fast paced pvp.

Oh and that was pre level 70 PvP.

Lets try and not make this into a thread about bashing WoW or e-peen stroking War.

I haven't even said WAR will be good, after the disaster that was AOC i will not be drawn into the hype. I merely HOPE its as good as it can potentially be and will be using the OB to make my mind up.

 Heres hoping the wow esports (tehe) crowd stay firmly put.

Dude your the one saying WoW is better than WAR all the time.
The thread was merely asking if people was going to leave wow for war. not which one is better.
You do this with every war thread people discuss war and you have to moan to high heaven about WOW IS THE BEST WOW WOW WOW

you say about e-peen stoking war atm all i have seen you is stroke your e-peen for wow like its the best thing sliced bread. You cant seem to accept anyones opinions on war if its against wow.

That video of the warrior priest posted was made before they made changes to the combat system (speeding up, More responsive etc) btw.

Now its more inline with wows.

My wow sub ran out last week and i've pre-ordered war from d2d. That said I will be re-subbing wow for wotlk but maybe not on release. Hellfire Peninsula anyone?

As I've said before, its really not about which one is better. "Better" is a subjective term, its all about which game is right for which player.

Some love WAR, some love WoW, hell some people even love Horizons and Vanguard.

I loved Daoc, and my love for Daoc is a large factor in why I love WAR. (I rate Daoc as the 2nd best MMO I've ever played for me, just behind UO which is the best one I've played). Due to the similarities between WAR and Daoc, WAR potentially could become one of my favourite MMOs to date (though it wont top UO), but I'll have to wait and see on that.

Beats me why people have to be so negative about other peoples choices, but I guess thats human nature.

I'll give WAR a try as I don't enjoy PvP in WoW (I play a Shaman who just gets crowd controlled way too easily).
I do enjoy raiding in WoW though, so even if WAR turns out to be good it'll probably be something I do on non-raid days or when I fancy a change. The only way to find out is to try it.

From the screenies I've seen it looks good, but I don't think I've got a good enough PC to play it how I'd want to.

Besides I hardly get time to play WoW as it is.

My experience of this from beta is that if people are expecting 1v1 balance, they're going to be dissapointed. The game is focused on group balance - and is balanced in that setting.

I know it shouldn't be about 1v1 balance, but if the game relies on much leveling, the poor sod on his own will get gimped by the groups of friend ganking, i know ganking happens, but if a person is meant to be part of a team, he'll stand less of a chance at getting one over any of them

Warhammer pvp looks very linear and robot feeling. much like EQ2 just a pvp version of it.

Could you post to the vids and such which have given you this view of the game? I only ask because WAR has more variation and tactics in regards to PvP than any PvP game i've played in a very long time.
We all have opinions, but some seem so far from the mark I wonder if people are making them up, and if not, what they've seen to give them such an opinion.

As I haven't played WAR yet I have no idea at all if I will be quitting WoW for it. I may even play both if the gameplay experience is different enough.

Thought to be honest, I have just hit 70 in WoW and got a bit bored now. It just seems to be a grind for Gold, Faction or Honor. At least with AA EQ gave you reasons to keep playing.
