Usual toilet performance from England.

Continuous 30 yard hopeful balls into the box that are easy to defend against, rubbish set pieces, no creativity.

Utterly awful to watch.

I'd take Downing off for Heskey, push A.Cole into left midfield with Lescott covering LB. With Heskey the focal point for crosses, I'd take Walcott off for Bentley with his better distribution. Then later probably bring Bullard on for Barry to supply some creativity in the centre and free Lampard from one of his markers.

Of course that won't happen though! :p

You'd struggle, Bullard isn't on the bench.

Walcott's been our best player so no reason to take him off.

Stuart Downing.......whats he for? Seems to run about a bit and hammer the ball a mile over or in front of the player he's aiming for.

His name is usually prefixed with "having a good season for Middlesbrough" usually while he's playing utterly dire for England.

Not seen a list of the subs. :o

He's done some good runs, but not much has come of them. Bentley can cross with greater accuracy and still get into the positions Walcott has. I have been impressed but just don't think he's quite there.
