Pacific Coast and Northern Nights are the same company. One is the US brand, the other is the QVC version.
Never seen 1200 thread count. I suspect that might be a 'fake' doubled/quadrupled thread count.

Duvet and Pillow Warehouse had some good stuff, got all my stuff from them and it was really good value.

Yup, but it's be worth it.
I've got one of these 9 tog Hungarian goose down duvets for the winter (haven't switched yet - still under my 4.5 tog standard goose down duvet) and it is the very best. They're just so soft and light. But some people prefer a heavier duvet (that's pretty much what it's all about). So if you like that 'tucked-in' feeling you should just stick with goose feather and down - still has the fantastic benefits of a natural duvet, ie naturally breathable, so you won't get all hot and sweaty!!

I know its old but i was shocked! i had a look in the links and i realise money is subjective but 100 pound for a pillow! **** me. For that price its what i'd expect.
