Could you date someone that was not... lets say "bright"

Have done, expect there wasn't much conversation. Altough if you see the pic in my gf thread you would understand why :p
 
It depends. I prefer intelligent girls but daft ones can be fun. And I quite enjoy educating people where I can.

So yes if its in a cute way but not if she is just a total idiot.
 
Definitely not, one of the very reasons i dumped a girl in January. She spoke and acted like Jade Goody.
Just as bigoted too.
That's the trouble with internet dating, you don't get a feel of things until it's too late..

Although I did get a feel of other things.
 
Great rack, tight butt and great sense of humour, don't care about smart, I wouldn't mind being the smart one, ugly, unfunny one :D
 
I could. I know a girl who's not that 'bright', but then at the same time she's studying medicine to become a doctor, and she aces all of her exams. Ask her anything to do with science and maths, and you'd think she was total nerd.
 
Would depend on how big her **** were. What can I say, I'm shallow.

I can handle it if a girl is a little bit on the blunt side of the knife, what i cant handle or furthermore tolerate is when a girl acts dumb because everything else is just too hard.

Nothing else makes me boil over quicker then some air head who thinks shes the first women to wrap men around her finger to do her bidding, yuck.

On the other end of the spectrum, i dont think i could date a dame smarter then me...

I'll let you in on a secret, neither do the psychologists.
 
Short term I could possibly go out with a girl who I didn't find intelligent but I doubt it would be great for either of us as one or both of us would get fed up quickly.

Longer term I'd say personality counts for more than looks, obviously there has to be a basic level of attraction but beyond that it is negotiable. A decent personality, a sense of humour and a passable level of intelligence is not. I do recognise that not all people are smart in the same ways but if we can't have a reasonable conversation on at least some subjects then I'm sorry but both of us are wasting our time.
 
I hung out the back of it for 3 weekends in a row, but all the time, every conversation we had I was like WTF are you on.
She got binned after that and then came up with the lame excuse that she was pregnant and I couldn't leave!
That kind of nailed the coffin lid shut in my mind about how thick you actually have to be to think that sort of tactic would wash..

I actually laughed at her, and called her a liar.

She called me a heartless illegitimate child and that was that. good riddance. :D
