2008 Italian GP - Race 14/18

Reading you loud and clear :D
And even as a Lewis fan, ITV do drive me bonkers sometimes with their over-reporting of him.

Would rather have the fanboy ITV reporting than all those ******* adverts anyday, at least i could turn the sound off and keep watching.

I liked F1 a long time before Lewis, and I will like it long after hes retired. (thats not to say we arent allowed to get excited about having a successful British sportsman :D ) ITV have just sadly forgotten to show the other 19 drivers before, during and after the races.

would rather have no adverts, no over the top LH reporting but keep all the stuff ITV have introduced, like rev, G-force and on-line content, qualifying etc.

Im with you on that one brother, roll on next year, have already started saying my prayers that BBC give it the coverage it deserves and dont start chopping it to pieces and not showing it live, which in fairness to ITV, inspite of the adverts, we have always had. I dont even mind getting up at stupid o clock to watch races either.

Oh yeah, he just luckily fell into that seat.

Really bugs me when people come up with this crap. Hes in one of the best seats in F1, hes one of only 20 drivers from the entire world that are in F1. You dont just get 'given' and F1 seat. Hes there because hes good, and hes beaten or been equal with his team mate both years hes been in that seat.

What your saying is that MS was only a good driver for the breif period he was in a Jordan. After that he was just lucky to be in a good car?

Damon Hill was crap then when he won his world title, but became a great driver when he joined Jordan.

And your saying that your beloved Kimi and Massa are both pants aswell, its just the car. They should both have stayed at Sauber and not bothered with taking the seats they earnt in the good teams?

yes he was lucky
michael never sat in a good car for a while he worked at it
damon hill was crap full stop
car most certainly is the star in f1 these days well that and the tyres
i dont think you really know what your talking about to be perfectly honest

ah so now your altering your statement

eh no
your showing crashes that happen due to wheel banging so they try not to do that while in btcc its fair game to rub some wheels i think you clearly missed the point you could show f1 crashes just the same would you say f1 is a wheel banging motorsport series? eh no

yeah none of this wheel banging malarky in GP2 is there

etc....

need we go on ?

GP2 is EPIC! I love it!

I know its a bit strange to say, but all of the F1 GP Weekends ive been too (3x Silverstone 1x Spa) have had much more excitement in the GP2 races than the F1. I will always remember the comment from the comentators at the 2006 British GP when Hamilton won, They said they had never seen a standing ovation for a support race at F1 that was bigger than anything the F1 produced. The crowd just went mental, regardless of nationality. It was just great racing.

yes he was lucky
michael never sat in a good car for a while he worked at it

So did Lewis, just in F3 and GP2

damon hill was crap full stop

Uh, right, ok....

car most certainly is the star in f1 these days well that and the tyres

Yeah, the control tyres that eveyone uses that are identical really has an effect on a drivers individual speed?!?!

i dont think you really know what your talking about to be perfectly honest

Atleast I have the ability to be mostly impartial.

BTCC is non contact in the same way as F1 and GP2, and LMS, and ALMS, and pretty much any circuit based Motorsport.

control tyre with many different compounds that suit some cars better than others
not so much a control tyre which is why ferrari was a bit annoyed at bridgestones choices recently as they would prefer the softer rubber
i am very impartial just your too blinkered to see it :p
