£££ Rockband- Unofficial thread £££

I will never GS* any of these songs. Never

Bad Omen - Sightread 3* - Rock hard song, lots and lots of HO/PO's, even the normal riff.

The Conjouring - Sightread 4* - Not that difficult bar a hard solo near the start, could have got 5* had I not saved overdrive fearing a second solo.

Devil's Island - Sightread 3* - Holy crap! The intro solo is chaos, if you miss an OD phase before it, you're screwed. Rock hard song and nearly failed numerous times.

Good Mourning/Black Friday - 4* sightread - Not too hard (compared to the rest). Bit of an awkward riff, but noting a bit of OD couldn't sort out. Brilliant solos as well.

I ain't Superstitious - Sightread 3* (could have been 4) - Easiest of the pack by far, very short, but filled with awesomeness.

My Last Words - Sightread 3* - Intro kinda like TTFAF, only a lot slower, rest is fairly tricky with an awkward main riff, then an okish solo, then a very fast strummy outro with lots of HO/PO's at the end.

Wake Up Dead - Sightread 4* - I hate chord heavy songs, thankfully this isn't one as I first feared as actually pretty damn awesome. Fairly hard solo but not the hardest in the world.

Sorted, my hands are now going to bathe in some ice.

I wonder if thats a taste of Rockband 2's increased difficulty. I must admit I quite liked RB's difficulty as it was :) The drums certainly dont need to be harder.

so far (touch wood) RB2 difficulty is about that of RB1... Ive not found anything as hard as GG&HT on Expert (well the solo's) yet - but i still have some songs to get

Not entirely happy with my Smokin' performance, re-do it later, Thrasher bass in the process of being filmed :)

Edit: Done, will be uploaded shortly. I'm now going to play Ride The Lightning for fun.

I just use a regular camera and record from that, the Thrasher video was around 70mb and took 15 minutes to upload. No compression at all. I used a program at uni once but I can't remember for the life of me what it was called though.
