Samsung Omnia I900 owners thread.

Two questions:

1: Is there a free RDP/VNC style app around for Windows Mobile?
2: On the Samsumg 2 today screen there is a picture of the sun next to the clock. I'm guessing this is some kind of weather thing, but I can't tap it or use it in any way. What is this for?

Yes, we currently have a VNC Viewer in beta for Windows CE (Pocket PC/ Windows Mobile):

Do you have the first one enabled - second disabled - then click XTRA Data Download?

I have the first one enabled and the second one enabled and then click Download - but then once its done move the first to disabled - the second one shouldn't matter if you do that.

@Dangerous - it connects to GPRS and downloads....some data.. that helps it work out where you are roughly and thus what satellites it should be expecting to pick up AFAIK.

im thinking to sell mine and go for the innov8

i dont see the point in swapping this for an iphone , which is just another touch screen

i miss keys..

got my new one :) its running hg5 not sure if thats the latest rom, but it does not have haptic feed back by the looks of it.

also to save me trawling through lots of post whats the good stuff to put on it now :)

I click download, nothing happens though, and i still can't connect to satellites without gpsgate running. :(

I ordered one of these yesterday:

Vodaclone (ordered on Web) - Free Phone, 700mins, 250Text, Unlimited Landline, Unlimited Web/Email (Fair Usage) = £35/month...

This was the best I could find... O2 (who I usually go with) don't have the Phone anymore, T-Mobile want to charge for the phone below £40/month, Orange I couldn't find anything about Web/Email packages that didn't make it s'pensive!!...

I even looked at some 'freebee' packages (PS3's, iPods etc...) but they want up front payments of 00's of pounds!!!...

Just waiting for my Confirmation of Credit Check now!!!... Then (hopefully) delivery!!:D
