Just reinstalled Vista (something was wrong with the partition), so ive finally been able to try Clear Sky with DX10 .. and its running superbly well

Running at 1920x1200 and everything set to maximum, and since switching to Full DX10 Lighting its running soooo smooth

Ive just tryed playing it max settings and max AA @ 1380x786 in xp so dx9 and its like a slide show

Have had terrible perfrmance with this game so far at 1900x1200, it's pretty looking at max settings, but then it chugs on my comp, lowered the settings, runs a lot better but looks a lot worse.

Had to re-install 4 times to get it working 100%, and now my latest save has bugged up, so think I'll be putting this one in the cupboard until they sort the bugs out.

Err yes forgot about that

It was like a slide show for me in dx9, which ever resolution i tried!
But in dx10 it doesnt stutter at all

now just tryed it on overall high settings, and 3 clicks up on AA and still only getting 15-20 fps.....and the game doesn't even look that good, seen better from a megadrive

Not a chance, they changing the scripting of the faction system far too much.

I am stuck at the Ambush (Bacon tree?) keep gettting killed. Very annoying.

I had the EXACT same problem. are you running 1.05.04? I had that problem with the first patch but now cant even got that far without crashing on the new one!

1)playing original+oblivion lost while waiting for next patch+float32 mod
2)then i'll play for 2 hours assess how game played, check forums for reports.
3) and probably then go back to 1)

I am back to it after a little stint on Crysis Warhead. Prefer this to be honest. I keep hitting "x" to run in Crysis but also try to select strength in Stalker! It does get confusing.

Tried it this weekend, but it is very confusing to say the least, I have multiple missions and I am just wandering around the swamps, I have a main mission to take over the plant but later on that is changed to another site, what is the ultimate goal in this game, is it to kill all the other factions and control the whole area?

Performance is quite good actually, I run at Enhanced Full Lighting with Sun stuff on low 1280*1024 and most of the time the framerate is ~30fps, I also have not had any CTD, BSOD's or lockups.

stuck on oblivion lost , I have gone through all the portals and the last one takes you to an area with no return portal instead of court to meet the main boss ,how do I get to court :confused:

Yes I'm on 1.05.04. I think it's some sort of script that may be bugged because it seems to be just as the friendly NPC's appear on the minimap.
