Crysis Warhead - Gone Gold

Anyone else getting kicked all the time in multiplayer?

I keep getting kicked after a few minutes. I've updated PB.
 
wheres the aspect ratio option in the game? with my sammy m87 lcd telly when in game i have to select just scan to get a 99.9% proper screen. my other games like cod4 work perfect and when in cod4 the just scan option is not there in the tv menu, just 16:9.
 
r_DisplayInfo 1 to see FPS and other stuff

Also does anyone else on Vista 64 get "This application has failed to start because WSOCK32.dll was not found"? It doesn't stop the game running but it's annoying having to click through it each time.

Turns out it's an issue with Xfire.

Still waiting for it to download from Steam.

Set the thing off at 3:45am when I was up for work and Warhead is @ 82% - Wars paused @ 63%.

Only on a 2mb line though so I'll have to wait.

Wonder what kind of performance I'll get with a 3.0ghz E2180, 2GB and 512MB 8800GT? Although I'm limited to 1280x1024 so that should help matters.
 
how do i play dx9 warhead dwnloaded from steam on vista 64, i thought it was just the gamer settings but now im hearing dx9 enthusiast setting
 
Half an hour and I finally get to try it out...

Sorry for the useless post, but I am bored at work today and doing anything to pass the time.

Oh poo! Just remembered need to go to a friends around 7:30 so going to get to try it for like 5 minutes :(

is that correct, because wwhen i run it in window mode, the name of the window(top left border says dx10) frame rates did not go up either

edit hmmmm now my aspect ratio problem i was having has corrected itself, must be something to dfo with the dx9 line added

Still waiting on Steam to finish downloading it :(

Going so damn slow, 70%, and it is downloading at around 80kb/s. I'm on 20mb :(
 
Seems to be running fine except the textures loading up late. I still think it's too easy though, even on delta. The gun seems to be too accurate now, like 2 bullets kill them. Sounds bloody fantastic with the z5500's though, those graneads shake the plaster off the wall LOL. The missis is out, so the volume is cranked right up :D

Runs and looks worse than crysis for me , whats up with the detail popup in this game?. Everything is on Mainstream ( no aa/af 1280x1024 )
