I played you on Evo and lost, it was when I was just getting into the series
You was a big Evo drum banger when Pes6 came out and that was arcadey.
I understand the game hasn't moved on and understand the frustration but until the game is actually out to atleast demo I dont think it's fair to compare the two from a crappy video.

Is that why I'm not on your friends list anymore? I'm shocked I won tbh! Evo 6 was a bit arcadey, but at the time it was still way ahead of the game that shall not be named.
How does not liking a game make someone a fanboy? I used to love pro evo, hell i bet i even played over a 1000 online games on pro evo 5. I just felt that it isn't as good as it could be on the current gen. Stop trolling threads just because someone doesn't think a game looks as good as they hope or as they hoped it would be.

PSM3 reviewed PES 2009 and FIFA 09.
PES 2009 88%
FIFA 09 83%
People need to stop judging this years PES based on videos. One review doesn't really mean anything but this years version is looking a lot better than last years.

I really have tried to get into Fifa, but it just hasnt happened for me. I dont feel in control of the player and it feels scripted and slow. I'm still playing PES6.

First it was big boots and now they have oversized gloves, good job Konami.
Just read the PSM3 review and I don't understand how they gave it 88%.
To sum up the positives and negatives:
+ PES2009 is slower than last years game and overall is better
+ Still apparently best football game on the market
- the shooting system is awkward, it's hard to score outside the box as the ball usually goes over the bar. It's also difficult to sore from certain angles in the box, but apparently after a while it's easier.
- no champions league mode in master league
- commentary is dreadful
To be honest one of the reasons I sold PES2008 other than the broken online mode is the commentary. Even if PES2009 plays really well I don't think I could stick the same commentary, it's so poorly done. If I do buy it I'll have to turn on the Spannish commentary.
After reading this review I don't think I'll be picking this up. FIFA scored lower with 83% but there aren't any scans of that review.

Keep the trashing for when we play both games on their final builds.
I think Pro Evo will be better, though.
The gloves do look lame on V.V ... but the bigger the glove the more chance of a save, perhaps is Konami's solution for crap Goalie a.i.
