some big syndicate tried to do this about 10 years back or something, but with their idea was to also miss out stupid combinations like
1,2,3,4,5,6
1,2,3,4,5,7
1,2,3,4,5,8
etc
if you miss out all those combos the profit is over £50 million I reckon

IF someone were to win the £100m, where would you put it so that it's safe. You couldn't use a bank as only the first £35k is protected and that's an awful lot of different bank accounts you'd need to open. You'd also need a damn big matress to store it under.
If i win 100m this week, ill give everyone that posts in this thread, £10,000.
Except that each ticket is £1.50, so you'd have to spend £114 million. Still, interest would probably get you that back eventually.

A couple of things.
Why do so many people (myself included) only usually buy a ticket when there is a massive jackpot, isn't the usual weekly £5m (or whatever it is) enough for people?
