I'm either buying the 50D or the 5D so i'm hoping price is good.

yes quality glass, very wide apertures but light is the main element in those videos.

Pro's always go over the top with gear

It would probably be possible to achieve similar quality and DOF with three lenses; a macro lens, wide F2.8 and a telephoto F2.8

Thats why it has a limit - 29mins59 secs or 4G, which ever that comes first. Which in real life it does around 12 mins as 4G usually comes first before 30 mins.

I utterly want one. I don't know why, it's not entirely rational. How much are prices projected to be in the UK again? Did someone mention £1500?

there is an online retailer selling it at £1800.

The thing is with a grip - i guess would be £150, plus spare battery - £60, you are looking at £2k anyway.

£2299 ($4254) RRP and yet only $2699 (£1458) in the US, I think importing would be a good idea with this one.

Plus I hate why the buttons have returned the side of the device. looked loads better along the bottom.
