I'd say that hes just about my favourite drummer, some of his playing on Geek USA from siamese dream is mind blowing. Apart from him I really rate Dave Grohl, obviously John Bonham, Matt Cameron (soundgarden/pearl jam) who is technically excellent and from a jazz background like Jimmy Chamberlain. Seeing Metallica with Joey Jordison on drums was great, was so much more dynamic that Lars' plodding beats.

Was just watching the guy from Extreme Mike Mangini. Never really heard much of their stuff but some of his stuff on youtube is pretty bloody impressive!
 
my favourite drummer ever is Dave Grohl. Without doubt, thesound he creates just wows me.

Joey Jordison also is a very very good drummer.
 
I don't really know much about drumming yet, as I've only just started playing.

I guess I like Nico McBrain, but that's partly to do with me being a Maiden fan for well over half my life, and knowing that people rate him as a drummer.
