You can also adjust the sensitivity of those too, though after playing the higher level modes i suggest you leave em as they are. Due to the insane speed you travel at in the highest level you NEED to turn 90 degrees in an instant; it makes my brain hurt.

Yeah, I found on the early tracks I was using the air brakes when I didn't need to.
 
Just been online playing with Whappers. Such an awesome game! No one seems to be using voice chat though :(
 
I actually bought a vantage headset for this specially, but i haven't had the guts to use it yet as the missus is home and she may make fun of me D:
 
damn its hard! did the first section with all golds. Then we watched a film so aint played anymore.

Awesome game, looks so good and the music is superb!

You assume correct - should be downloaded by now and I'll be on from tomorrow (with headset!)

Besides Uncharted this will be the most use the PS3 has had in weeks :o
 
Just bought this without reading any reviews etc as I know it's gonna be great, can't wait till the download is finished!

1. The accelerate button is touch sensitive so make sure you keep pressure on it, you can adjust the amount of pressure required in the options menu.

2. Learn the tracks - if you know where the blue boost pads are better than the other guy you will win

3 Lean the weapons - obvious really :D

I would say good luck, but i think we both need it, this game is damn hard.

1. Don't worry I have my finger firmly pressed down, I'm surprised the button hasn't fallen out of the bottom of the controller tbh..

2. I don't seem to miss many pads, unless they are side by side but I assume you can't shift sideways to get more than one when they are?

3. I have to say I'm struggling to get anywhere near anyone to have an effect with the weapons :(

Finally is there a way of boosting from the start (ala Mario kart) as I usually get left behind from the get go?

*Sigh* Sony's servers are mediocre compared to Microsoft's. :(

Granted, you don't pay to use your PS3 online but I'd rather pay and have a decent download speed. Using about 5% of my 20Mbps at the moment. Terrible.
 
kinda got side tracked playing MGS4 but have now bought this and downloading as we speak :D added a few people from the list but will add the rest when I pick my keyboard up tomorrow as Im too lazy to add them all with the controller lol
