Agree with this. It seems FarCry2 wasn't sure what type of game to be.

I obviously don't know but from the looks of it, theres no intensity at all to the combat. Warhead absolutely nailed it as far as I'm concerned. Everything a shooter should be.

these game looks great, sure crysis was good, but take it's graphics away and the story was pretty thin tbh, were as stalker is much much better, i would rate it a lot higher than crysis, even the new one.

Those screens look no better than on games like CoD2.

How you can even try and compare it to Crysis is beyond me.

They look really good, nothing compared to crysis but still very pretty

In true Libran fashion, I am going to sit on the fence with the whole Crysis Warhead:Far Cry 2 battle. Having played Warhead and now regularly playing Wars, all I can say is, I love it. The Battleground map in Crysis Wars is stunning and the gameplay matches. To be running along and have a huge tank burst out of the trees is quite a sight. Now on the other hand Far Cry 2 looks equally stunning and I cannot wait to play it. I really don't feel the need to set my foot in either camp when I can have the best of both worlds and play each of them and enjoy them separately for different reasons.

Along with Clear Sky, I think these games are extremely immersive and only let down by their predisposition to create BSOD. Unfortunately much of this can be put down to my BFG8800GTX reaching egg frying temperatures.

Graphics look good imo... not the bestm not the worst, but certainly inline with a current gen game.

They're just factory settings aswell, you'll be able to add more AA and/or confiq files. If you're feeling brave!

I loved FC, but I'm not willing to get anxious like with Crysis and get disappointed, it's not even made by crytek any more so I just don't know what to expect. If it's more of FC1 with better gfx then it'll be welcome, otherwise if it's like Crysis I'll be a bit disappointed.

Yeah it looks a bit too ''open worlded'' for me from the trailer, Far cry was, although a bit open worlded, still very linear. I'll just have to play it to make up my mind though.

graphics are good, i think a lot of ppl are saying they are not good because obviously they are comparing it with crysis, thing is tho crysis depicts something colourful and good looking anyway,bright green foilage crystal clear water, however farcry2 is like mainly sandy coloured and dark green type foilage, plus the dirty muddy brown coloured water makes the graphics look crud, however i bet if crytek did some dirty muddy water in crysis it would look just as crap. and some of the guns in farcy 2 look like they have been crapped on by someone, crysis they are squeaky clean and we all know most things look a hundred times better when clean

just remember farcy now that was depicting tropical beauty and that still looks awesome at high res even now.

i think once we get the game infront of us on our screens it will look much better and wwe will see some detail, otherwise maybe the african landscape is very hard to beauty fie in a game at the mo

Graphics are nice, but they look a bit "cartoonish". Sort of like a mix between Stalker and GRAW2.

*Sigh* .... I guess Crysis will still be the king of uber realistic graphics for some time to come. That said, if it runs considerably faster than Crysis and offers truly open ended gameplay, then I'm not complaining.
