Had two rear shocks replaced at last MOT as it failed due to a serious leak on one, they cost around £58 each. Again its another common fault on the 182, they do seem to go through rear shocks quite quickly.
Cambelt = £600 on average too.
If you go to a main dealer yes. If you go to a good independent specialist then it will cost you half that.
used plenty of cruise control i would be looking at maybe 5mpg or so more
I checked at every garage I could find within 20 miles of me in West Sussex... none were anywhere close to £300!

Cruise control is ridiculously thirsty... accelerates up hills, and slows down down hills, if i paid for fuel i'd be wary of cruise all the time, but otherwise, love using it on otorways, and in camera zones.
No thats not true.
The reason its £600 is because its takes a lot of labour hours, much more than standard clios
Not calling you a liar at all, but it's generally at least £130 for the kit and 4 hours labour to change a cam belt on a 182... so £250 would be an exceptional price I think and certainly contrary to the norm. As I say, I have checked every garage within some distance and can find nothing cheaper than £550. I'll keep looking though and if I need ot travel further afield then I will do.![]()
