Lets discuss about magic!

That copperfield one with the cirular saw is amazing...how on earth do they do that?

Trying to work it out myself :/

Someone suggested that he bends his body so that his knees are touching his chest, but that would be VERY hard. Plus he gets 'put back together' again with ease!

Yeah that's all I can think of - that it's two people (well obviously it is lol) but that his legs are folded under that 'seemingly' see through table he's on, then somebody is upside down with their legs out on the other one.

That is the only possible explanation I can think of and actually, the "put back" is done under the box, which is perfectly plausible.

I love magic.

I think the best trick I've seen is how the grammar in the thread title mysteriously vanished.

I used to do a lot of work with 'Magicians' in Clubland and knew how they did 99% of them but whenever I saw Paul Daniels perform he had me amazed.
Tommy Cooper was also a fine magician.

Breaking the Magicians Code was basically a series that showed how 'Club Magicians' did it but it could never show how Blaine or Copperfield did it.
They claimed it was all done with camera tricks eg Elephant in scene > move the camera to an identical area > elephant not in scene. Blaine throws cards at window > stop camera > run in restaurant > put card inside window > start camera.
Somehow I don't think this is how they did it.

Magic is all very clever, but it is also very predictable. You rarely see anything new, or at least unexplainable these days.

I enjoyed the Barry & Stuart clip because it was 'different' and contained humour.
