I'm very happy with FIFA tbh. As good as Pro Evo at it's best? - Most certainly not. Regardless, it's genuinely decent enough to enjoy it on it's own merits, whereas Pro Evo is such a shadow of its former self that I can't bear to play it.

I can't go far wrong with sticking to the best footie game ever (Pro Evo 4) and the best current footie game available (which just happens to be FIFA).

Fifa is still too concerned about being shiny imo, I just can't stand the gameplay.

I have barely played a fifa match without scoring a 30 yard screamer with the keeper punching it into the back of the net or seeing a cross-pitch lofted through ball from a right / left back send the striker straight through.

I could never move to fifa unless it got harder / more realistic. Having said that, it is still good fun, and its quirks are infinitely less frustrating than some of the ones on Pro 08

The demo is gonna be MP and SP and Liverpool, Man Utd, Barca, Real and France the teams to choose.

the main reason 2008 failed was online if you read about most say wont buy unless its fixed so they can show its fixed in a demo konami know this

I can't see it being online MP, but then why even mention it? Most sports games can have 2 players even in the demo versions.

I think they mean offline multiplayer.

We will be lucky if the online mode is working on release, never mind during the demo with Konami's recent track record of their online exploits
