Positives in this...?

The only possible advantage to that is that those people would just be slotted into rooms that happen to become available and i guess they could be anywhere. Possibly people in John Williams that pull out (ahem), but also possibly in single rooms on campus.

Not sure if I'd prefer to be in that situation though.

Finally got the internets now. :)

But because the place is being rented out to the Uni it doesn't use the uni internet, we have some ruddy BT line.

Everyone one the floor is sound, my room mate is cool aswell. Some nice ladies aswell and one very nice lady. :D ;)

But yeah im glad im in here now. :)

Coolio did a set in the SU the other week which was imense to say the least. ;) I think he will be the best entertainment they will get in this year tbh. :p

Yeah thats about it, bed time now as Ive got a banging head ache.

Well this is my first time sharing a room but my roommate seems pretty cool and considerate for music, making noise etc.

Also lots of lovely eastern european hotties!

They must be giving you some sort of discount on fees for this, surely? Totally unacceptable, if they can't provide the guaranteed accomadation (well I gues they are providing it but it's hardly adequate) then why take on the extra numbers? Or do they get the excess burden after clearing?

It would seem to me that either the floors are using seperate lines or the whole building is using the same line, as the net is amazingly slow at times today.

There are 4 floors here and there are 13 people on my floor alone so thats a lot of people using the same internets.

so was it what u expected?

Nope, 100x better

we had a 1mb connection that was completely unsecured open wireless in first year for a building of 156 people, obviously not everyone had ability to connect to it, but ofcourse it didnt really last v long.. It worked for a few days and overheated none stop and getting on the internet was never really possible. couldnt even get on msn.

So your roommate done naughty things to you in the night yet?

Get a pic of him :p
Shove his toothbrush up your rectum and take a photo. Then rinse it (bot not too much) so there isn't any indication of what you've done.

The morning after the night where your roommate felt the need to get "closer" to you, you can have the last laugh by showing him the photos of what you've done to that toothbrush he's been putting in his mouth twice daily. It won't stop you from having had to be his "special friend" but at least it's a lose-lose situation for both of you.

no way would I ever ever share a room unless it was a mate, I only get along with 1% of the population, odds arnt good. Would end up arguing or fighting.

Hals must make a mint, they seem verry expensive for what they are, hpuse ***.
