It means they cant take it back for another 15 minutes.
 
Got home clutching my copy of war, installed it, checked for patches whilst installing what an anticlimax have to dl 800+ gig of patches:(
 
Can anyone with a 4850 please tell me what settings they are playing with? incuding AA / AF?

I'm having seriously **** performance and I thought surely a 4850 would be able to play this game flawlessly.
I doubt my processor/ RAM is the problem because ive got a 3.1ghz X2 and 4GB.

Please help!

In the Catalyst Control Panel I have set:

AA - 8x
AF - 16x
Mipmap detail - high
Wait for vertical refresh - high
Adaptive AA - disabled

In game everything is set to quality.

I am running at 1680x1050 on a Q6600 @ 2.4, with 4gb ram and HD4850 with 1gb

If so then im not sure what my problem is.

whats also gay is crying on forums that you got ganked on a pvp server & not even bothering to look into the server that you rolled on and will spend a lot of time on.

Been levelling a few different characters to try them out and have just got my Marauder to level 9. While out on a public quest a green dropped that requires the "greater axe" skill. I use axes, but don't have that skill.

How do I go about training the greater axe skill ?

maruader will be one of the classes that cant use them.

you dont train skills for the different weapon types like in wow you have them all at the start

Yeah as said above, it was probably a "Greater Weapon" axe, which is a 2 handed axe. So marauders cant use it as they cant use 2 handers.
 
just started this game last night :P

currently a lv8 witch elf on Karak azgal server :P

anyone else play there?

my laptop doesnt take WAR too nicely, gfx card goes up 80c and cooling fans go crazy
