Hi guys, my plan is to build a triple rad into my WC system.

I think I want to build it onto the top of my case in order that it has plenty of fresh air around it, does anyone have any input or past experiance with this?

I have been looking around but can't see any build logs with this kind of idea.

I've updated my build using Swiftech triple rad and Swiftech rad box mounted on top with the pipes going into the case.

If you want I can post some pics.

Looks like he just mounted it with a case fan through a blowhole? Unless it's just a shroud to hold it in place :)

Yeah, I'm wondering if the psu is botton mounted and their is a hole in the top of the case...

I think i want to mount mine on legs so there is air flow over and under the rad.

I screwed the RAD box directly to the roof, The Lian Li A17 you can remove the roof to make it easy to install.

I had to drill the 4 holes.

Edit: Just noticed you can see 2 of the screws on one of the images I posted in the gallery :)

Ok thanks dude, ideally i don't want to drill any holes in my case due to the fact that i have no power tools available to me :(

Feel free to post any ideas!

What case are you using, the Swiftech rad box can be pretty versatile, my old case was the Lian Li A10B and I mounted the Rad box to the top blow hole without any modding.

I have a cheapo XClio. Finding it very hard to resist buying a cosmos s, especially because you can mount a triple rad in the roof of the bloody thing....

I know what you mean, I had considerd going for one but the price was £50.00 to high :(, it is also fairly big case.

I've done it, luckily my case already had a hole in the top which turned out to be the right size. Piccy:

It's not dismantled however, I'm moving the lot into an Antec 900.

Cheers, I was lucky enough to use a case with a perspex window on top... I removed the perspex and installed the rad & fans...

I don't really see how you can pull this off without butting any holes tho... A drill and jigsaw is all you need. :)

That might work, just make sure it it's fixed otherwise it may get knocked off.... You'll still need to drill holes for the hoses tho (unless you've got something like an Antec 900.

£9.98 (CHEAP!), the store is around the corner from me....

This should handle a thin alloy case right?
