"Ghost" Picture

I love how when somebody takes a crap picture, it's instantly a ghost... of course it isn't that persons absolutely **** poor ability to take a picture :p

No-one's stopped to think that if you were to take a picture of an altar you'd do so when there wasn't anyone in front of it. A pretty easy feat to accomplish. I have been to many foreign churches and taken the odd picture and you always do so when there's no-one walking in front of the camera.

The strange thing about the photograph is the way in which the figure's moving. It's not a normal way of walking, a lot of the weight is transferred towards the back foot. There's certainly something very unusual about the photograph, and if the person who took it swears there was no-one there it could be something out of the ordinary, possibly supernatural. But OCUK, as usual, is all about taking the straight and narrow, most obvious inside-the-box route and trying to appear as clever as possible in the process when this is, in fact, a forum of computer nerds, a lot of whom have never had intimate contact with any woman apart from their mother and whose meiotic processes are forced to remain permanently on overdrive.

0.o something rubbed you the wrong way this morning?

blah blah blah

Ah, that old chestnut. and to think i thought you were actually going to produce some sort of interesting argument, to break from the norm.

Whats your excuse for your 3 year, 6,000 post contribution to being a virgin and popping your spots then?

Bit negative Lysander, considering the advice you can get on here is in part professional with regard photography. Think the main point is the picture is not even a very good suspected ghost picture, unless the Ghost these days dress like tourists and are doing the usual thing a walking fast when you notice someone trying to take a pic…………..

How dare you try to be so diplomatic!

I already produced my argument in the preceding sentences which you've chosen not to address. Instead, you picked at my final point about trying to appear clever [an easier thing to do] and in doing so reinforced it.

The fact is, in my case anyway...every ghost / parranormal program I have ever watched, which is god knows how many now...Not one has ever been wearing trainers and trousers like that.

That's my only point really.

As for old images going onto new ones? How is that possible on digital media? before it's even printed that is, I'm not upto scratch on that sort of thing so if someone could explain, that would be cool.

It does look interesting, because the top half of the figure doesn't look 'rite' compared to the bottom half, mainly due to the more bold look it has compared to the bottom.

So it's a perfectly normal picture taken on a below average quality camera? How on earth do we then make the leap to "ghosts"? FFS, this forum cracks me up sometimes :)

Tweaking the levels revealed the truth.

Just spotted that... very good :D

It has to be real, it's tilting

All ghosts tilt to one side!

Unfortunately, my friend, any point you were trying to make has been completely overshadowed by your incredibly childish, unoriginal, and quite silly remarks at the end. Why on earth would i let prime material like that slip?

In any case, you've read my argument against the matter. You completely dismissed it on your own accord, claiming that i (along with everyone else on the forum) am narrow minded and unable to come to a sensible conclusion regarding the existence of ghosts. Perhaps you didn't understand that this was my opinion. Would it make my opinion easier to see if afterwards i slagged off the whole board?

I'm very sorry that you are one of a minority of people that accepts the supernatural. I've made it quite clear that i dont, but i didn't then go and call people names and stamp my feet. Perhaps if you want a sensible debate on a proper subject, you need to rethink your approach.

Meeow. What you mean to say is that you were unable to think of a comeback or counter to my main argument so decided to nitpick my closing comments instead.

Depends how personally I took such a general comment. But since I know now that you're the emissary for OCUK I'll just direct my future generalisations towards you instead.

If you didn't spend so much time attempting to be clever and win the forum's approval, and if you fashioned some of your own opinions rather than saying what you think people want you to say, we could have a genuine discussion.

I just want to be loved :( Why don't you love me? I should start a "which razorblade" topic.

Spooky ghostly archers too...

Clearly ghosts, as can obviously be seen by the fact that the spectral figure on the right is beginning to translate back into the astral plane (in other words, his legs vanishing).

Trust me, I'm a doctor ;)

Oh, and theres an orb in the trees :)
