Found a vid of the pc editor, works exactly the same as the 360 vids but a more pc interface for buttons etc:

He also seems to say on 360 and pc you can use the console editor, so assuming that means you can use the 360 interface if you have a 360 pad.

Think im more interested in the editor than the game at the minute, always wanted to make maps but hated the standard interfaces that most games have. While this may not have the complexity of an editor like you find in unreal engine games or whatever it wont stop fun maps being created. :)

Well if I remember correctly the 360 is based on a X1800XL and his pc must have more ram. The 3850 has got to be a bit better then an X1800XL. I think you may be ok but don't expect miracles.
 
the far cry 2 experience was quite fun, thanks guys, i am really starting to look forward to this game despite drm and a few other "querks". quite a few games on my xmas list now :)

I wonder if the dialogue is the same regardless of which character you play as ?
for e.g if you played as one of the female characters I wonder if it would alter the dialogue etc ?
would the AI try & chat you up & make lewd remarks ?:p
