Is this a native spider...?

Got me searching spiders now, and came across this:

:eek::D

Spiders are so fascinating :P We had this spider with a 'shell' on its back at school the other day.

if its in your toilet just **** on it, unless its one of those **** stream swimming, japs eye biting spiders (if they exsist?)

:D a real Daddy Longlegs.

Much nicer seeing it than a cranefly tbh.

*n

A cranefly is a jimmy spinner. A daddy longlegs is as you have pictured.

They are not one and the same.

We must have had a colony of daddy longlegs as I was growing up, cos they were all over the big stone walls we had in the playground at school.

Some of the things done to those spiders! Eurgh.

We get them in the toilets at work too i never thought that they were unusual?? But the furthest place we got shipments from was Israel though...

Oh god not this debate again :D. I think it just depends where you are from. A crane fly has always had the 'slang' name of Daddy Long Legs round my parts.
