Runs great for me. 4x AA and 16x AF @ 1920x1200 and I am on Vista 64bit. So it must have been something to do with your system. 9800gtx+ is not as good as 4870, so suprised by your result :confused:

What os and i would reinstall coz that ent right are you loged in to the games for windows live thing as well as that is linked to save games and achievements.:)

Yeah thinking about it it is prob the games for windows live as it logs your profile as well (To get it up press home on your keyboard or the green xbox 360 contoll light)

Can anyone tell me the exact movement required to do a powerslide? I've done them before unintentionally. I've read the little tip thing a couple of times but not sure what it meant. Do you have to be going around 90mph or some crazy speed?
 
The way i do it on a 360 pad is go up to a corner 50-100mph then press B to handbrake then turn then A to giv it some No2 to power out of it:D:cool:
 
Ah right so handbrake is definitely involved? Okay cool. So a lot of speed, handbrake and as my car is turning to one side pull it back then press accelerate

Its good although not great. Definitely worth it for that price. Should give you at least a weeks worth of playing time. I didn't manage to complete the campaign mode in the end. I got up to about 85% and got stuck on a certain selection of course. I couldn't unlock the top MPH cars because I needed to get past this certain stage to do so. My car just wasn't cutting it and I would finish 3rd in one race then 4th + 5th in the others. The last part is hard because there's about 6 different courses and each one has about 4-5 laps at least. Each lap roughly working out at about 1minute 30seconds to complete meaning its pretty hard to keep a top 3 place for 6-7 minutes straight given the game environment your playing in.

The stunt modes can be entertaining for awhile but not long enough unfortunately.
 
ok just downloaded this, cheers for pointing out in was only 6squid.

prob is when i try and launch it, it just comes up with a error.

Thats in vista dont want to download it again in xp cos will screw up my already sparce download limit. Any ideas?

I received the (i assume) same error.. you need to download the Games for Windows Live redistributable - you can grab it from the Microsoft site.

You don't need to create an account or anything, but the game won't run without it installed (or, didn't for me).

Bought it on steam a couple of days ago for £5.99. Works very well with my 360 wireless pad, and i'm loving the online action, haven't even looked at single player yet!
