PS3 trophies for GTAIV coming Monday 27.10.2008

This might give me an incentive to play it. Can't stand the game at the moment. I've been on it 4 times for around 10 mins each before I got bored. I enjoyed watching the TV in his room more than playing the game. The graphics are terrible. Will be better on PC.

Never noticed no plat, Will be playing again my self no idea how to get the kill a rockstar one tho :-(

From what i understand it works like this, if you kill someone who has killed a Rockstar employee then u get that that as well. ?

Thats how it works on 360 so I'd imagine its the same.

Thought the GTA achievements were pretty fun to get.

dont see the point in multiplayer trophys i really found the multiplayer side boring.

ok, now forgive my noobness but what benefits do gaining these trophies give me?

I've finished the story missions and am working my way towards 100%.

Completely forgot about these. Have started this game again. It's well good. Gonna just shoot through it to make sure I get under 30 hours, then I'll work my way through all the achievements.

I noticed one of them is kill a Rockstar, how many of them will actually be playing?

I'm about 53% done with the game right now, so trying to decide if I want to start over. Some of the missions were quite a bear for an old man; I'm losing my reflexes.

Looking at the list, it appears there are only 9 extra trophies I will get if I start over completely. That leaves 33 single-player trophies I can still get from where I stand now, and all of the multi-player trophies. I think I'll just continue from where I am.

Im not sure but when i booted the game up after the patch it said trophies wouldnt work with old saves, from that i assume that you wont get any from playing on an old save?

but would it stop the trophies?

Just started it again. Realised after 10 minutes that I really cannot be bothered playing that game at all. Got my first ever trophy just for sitting through the first mission pretty much. Doubt I will ever play it again.
