Remember these?

Wow the memories of my childhood:D

20" Skyway Tuff 2 mag wheels !

Tempted to treat myself :p

yeah:D

ZX rims worked the best.

Remember back in the 80's a friend having a set of Z-Rims, did a rockwalk and as the front-end came around the whole wheel bent to about 90-degrees, sprung back and flew out sideways.

Those things were unreal.

Also, best mate had a Commando then came a cropper one day when the front wheel fell off - faceplanted, and kocked 4 teeth out. Wasn't pretty.

Grifters were rubbish - that's why everyone wanted a Bmx!

And the frozen wheels was an urban myth.

I had a raleigh burner with may wheels - always wanted a Chrome Mongoose though

Choppers are back in fashion as are those.

I remember having a pinkish peugeot bike it was bloody good, was tought and was ace for pulling wheelies.

lol one of my mates did that on a bmw flying down a hill that was at an almost 90c angle, he smashed pretty much all of his front teeth up and had caps put on just about all of them.

i only ever had one bad accident and that was on a mountain bike at the local bmx course we had set some bricks up with a peice of wood going over the top of them on one of the big jumps and i guess some how the wood got caught in my spokes even though it was a snapped of fence plank.

all i remember is flying over the handle bars about 7 ft in the air :D (the sand mound jump on the course was about 6ft high) i looked at my bike and the handlebar was bent at a 180c angle lol

i cried as soon as i saw the bike was all messed up because i thought my dad would be really angry but he was cool and just bought me 2 new wheels and new handle bars
