Talking of dirty buggers, what about a Fair play award? Doesn't the league stats in fifa show red and yellow cards for each player?

Possibly a silly idea but a 5 point gain for the fairest player and a 5 point deduction for the dirtiest player? Would make things more interesting.....not this season but in future...?

i think its a good idea, but how would u decide who gets the points if more than 1 finish with the same amount of cards

Do the stats say if the Red cards are straight ones or second yellows? If straight Reds, then that could go against the other team on same cards.

I don't think there would be any way of checking which reds were straight or 2 yellows. I think Fifa just simply shows the amount of Red and Yellow in the league stats. In the unlikely event of a tie the points would be shared I guess. Or a 1 match winner or loser takes all.

Regarding the card thing, there are some real in depth stats for players on the game but unfortunately I don't think you categorise it down just to our league

You can't but the league stats do track red and yellow cards per team, I also believe it tracks fouls so in the event of a tie, fouls conceded could come into play.

Might stop people intentionally fouling when you're through on goal.. can't stand it when people do that. To be fair though, most people I've played have been decent enough to not hack me down
