I don't get all of this tactic stuff. I leave everything to default and let it get on with it lol, maybe that's why I'm not at the top of the league maybe? ;):confused:

My defenders are slow as well, there were multiple times you were through and I just couldn't keep up, luckily I had my fullbacks to cover on some occasions and my keeper was outstanding.

As I said, It was an awesome game :D (For me anyway) :p

I haven't used any tactics or changed my team whatsoever in any league game and I'm top :p Well until ciyan finishes his games......

Looks like Fubsy will finish 3rd and me second should I win my last game. I'm genuinely shocked by the 4-1 scoreline, I haven't scored against him in 2 games!

Yeah I know I was just joshing :p

It's all about how you play on the day, and playing to your strengths and exploiting weaknesses.

I'm extremely shocked at that scoreline myself to be honest, I got hammered in the Cup against him, and this time I've got my revenge :D

I think I've played most of the "harder" teams in the league, so I should get a few more wins under my belt, although, anything could happen :D

I've enjoyed this so far, so frustrating, yet so rewarding at certain times :D
 
Fubsy is on a downer :D

On ranked, I've won 16 in a row now the losses I have most were penalty shootouts which I NEVER win, I don't think I could be anymore unlucky in penalty shootouts, it's ridiculous!
It was like 08 really, when everyone gets the game they suck but gradually get better as far as ranked games go. They've had three weeks on me too!
 
I had a nightmare the last 2 nights on ranked games, can't seem to win any and it's not necessarily the quality of opponent but I have all of a sudden forgetten how to play! My controller nearly hit the wall last night so Fifa had to come out of the xbox for the first time since I had it and played Dead Space.
 
I'm thinking of what to do once the two leagues are completed, I'm predicting people won't get their games finishes and will be kicked from the league and/or they'll drop out anyway as some players can't be arsed by the looks of it. Same old story as usual...

So depending on the end number of players I may just have one league next.
 
Argh, I stayed up until 3am trying to figure out why I'm playing so bad, yet I managed to lose every single game I played, I just can't find space, it's like the opponent just holds down A and are like magnets twoards my players, but for some reason I can't pass it round them because they always intercept my passes :(

I can't tackle for **** either now, seems players just run along side/can't catch up. This game has a certain way of playing it that just seems to elude me atm :(

That usually happens on football games I find, one week you can't lose, the next you can't do anything right. I'm sure you'll "recover" from this..

to be honest, and it sounds horrible to say it, maybe just have the people we know are active, it would be a shame as we would never get newcomers. But I'm going to struggle to get my last games done as I can't find the lads online

That said, anyone who hasn't played me in League B,

Name a time and a place so we can at least try to organise
 
That's it though, yu don't have to wait on FIFA to wait for a game, just bloody communicate in here and organise a team yet people can't manage that. It really infuriates me as I know it's gonna happen everytime. It's like being at primary school again!

But yes your right, unfortunately we'd only have a small number of players. I know the uber reliable ones and they're the majority of the ones that played in all the leagues/cups in 08.

The problem andy, and its a common problem with leagues, is people lose interest when they have nothing to play for, its a shame, but smaller leagues playing each other twice would be better.

3 or 4 division of 10-12 folk.

Ive not managed to find anyone in the league to play for nearly 4 days now, extremely frustrating, especially tartan terrorist, who ive invited probably close to 20 times now, i always check and see if he is able to play (apart from once when i knew he wouldnt accept anyway, so checked after). Always picks another league he is in instead of ours.

Annoying that its all falling down, we need deadlines.

League played over 3 weeks. Each week you must play at least 1/3 of the total games, if you dont have a valid excuse then you get kicked from the league, if you get kicked from the league, you are not allowed to play in the next league, having to wait till the following one. Its a system that worked well for pro evo leagues on thedvdforums.
