I am looking for a SATA II Raid card that has 4 ports and can do Raid 0/1/5/10.

Preferably a PCI-X one as well.

I was looking at the RocketRaid 2320 but its way over what I am willing to pay. The performance is great on it and I would like something like that but I can't afford it.

Is there a budget version of something like that?

Thank you :)

All of these types of cards are likely to be expensive. If you are looking for PCI-X then costwise you are likely to be restricted to SATA 150, which on todays drives is unlikely to cause you a problem. If you are determined to go for SATA 300 then you would be wiser to go for a PCIe card, because they are more numerous and more future proof.

RAID 5 is the one that will cost you the money, think about whether you need this, if not then you will save yourself a heap of money.

I used a Supermicro PCI-X SATA 300 8 port card, and used the OS to mirror the drives, was a lot cheaper and more robust than a RAID 5 solution. the only other card that might suit is a Dell Perc 5i, if you can find one.
