There is still time to ensure that nothing will be affected.

You need to phone up the original referrering consultants secretary (the one who referred for the MRI). Tell them whats happened. They should then (if not ask them to) contact the radiology dept and ask for a semi-urgent slot, so as not to compromise the meeting. Since it is the radiology depts bad, they should and would make amends and sort things out before the date of the meeting.

You could try to phone up the radiology dept yourself, ask to be put through the booking office or clerk, explain what has happened, (THEIR fault) and that they should make amneds and do scan before meeting.

Hmmm very constructive I'm sure you'd achieve a lot - u know for sure that the guys doing the reporting/diagnosis were responsible for messing up? - I'll go back to my previous comment tbh....

Are you stupid? can you not read? I have already said that it would be a case of shouting at people who did not actually **** up.

As much as we would all like to think we would be polite all the time, im actually saying how i would be. I dont give 2 ****s if you dont agree with it or dont like it. I would be furious with the crazy amount of cockups that have occured.

hell, being at the bottom could be a good thing. at the moment the **** ups are delaying beth's treatment, while at the bottom if someone messes up it might actually put her in front of others to be considered!!

So basically you're emotionally retarded - last thing some doctor or nurse working their ass off to try and help people needs is some idiot member of the public shouting and screaming at them for something that may or may not be thier responsibility.
For the ones working in paediatrics everyone patient they deal with is a kid with, most likely, something seriously wrong with them. Of course there are going to be admin failures etc... What will shouting at them achieve aside from them taking a very dim view of you personally.

Emotionally retarded? No. I'm actually known for being laid back and calm even in horrible situations, but there comes a time when people need to know that its 1 mistake too many.
