Classic dumb-ass thing I did

First day I had the porka I spent a good 5 mins looking for the fuel filler release button at the prtol station....only to find you open it yourself when the car is unlocked :(
 
Worst I've done was to try and get in the wrong car, this was only the other night. Came out the the chippys, doddled over to what I thought was where I parked, stuck the key in the drivers lock, it didn't fit. Mentally went "wtf?" .....looked down and realised it wasn't my car, it was a Clio, I drive a Polo, and the lady sitting in the drivers seat looked rather frightened. :o

Hastily apologised, and ran to the safety of my own car, round the corner.
 
Put my car into 3rd and stall a lot when i first pass.

Polo gearboxes suck, 3rd and 1st are way to similar.

Hah win! I was always ultra-paranoid about doing that, so much so that I'd regularly panic after forgetting I'd left the keys in the pillion seat lock.

As regards stupid crap, I can't think of anything.
 
I nearly went into someones back after i went into panic because i could'nt find the clutch and the gear stick would'nt budge.. about a week or so after i bought my automatic Focus. Also got caught out with the leaving in drive and trying to start it thing :D
 
I've cut through a queue to the front of a set of lights. Then when they went green proceeded to rev it up and drop the clutch, only to sit there like a complete tool without moving, in front of two other bikers. :o

Must double check I'm not in neutral. :p
