Anyone got their SE xperia!!! what do you think?

My bro just got one last night on O2 and had a bit of a play with it...its a nice phone i have to admit and im seriously thinking of ditching my Touch Diamond for one...i find it much quicker than the Diamond ie the menus but then i guess its because the X1 isnt running TF3D which is a resource hog at the best of times.

Still going to hold fire till i see the new Blackberry Storm which is due out soon...think its next week or so.

But first impressions of the X1 is that its a very nice phone...the keyboard is very nice.

Should have haggled more, got the same for £27.50 ;) I wouldn't go for RIM, prefer WM, loads of guys here are moving from RIM to WM or iPhone.

This is the best WM phone I have used and I am loving it.

frack me £27.50! shizznits, I tried but they wouldn't budge, kept saying if i wanted to pay less then I had to pay more for the damned phone! :(

A few of us from the O2 forums got the same deal, looks like it's difficult to get it now, someone mentioned before that it was a mistake they gave us such extreme offers, but we now all have 40% from now on off any tariff

I don't suppose anyone knows how much these are (and tariff) from a Vodafone shop?

I popped in today but no one was serving at all, and I won't have time his week. It'd be great if someone could pop in for me one day.

you not checked online, they're generally pretty much the same
Are they? T-mobile and O2's don't seem to be, although granted I wasn't looking hard.

Don't wanna pay £50 AND £40 pcm... :(

well yeah but a £45 tariff? ouch. would be ok if it was only 12 months as you could sell the phone for £200 after your contract had expired but 18 months?? soare arse.com

Yeah, but it does have unlimited texts and data... which would be similar price on all networks. In fact, more I think?

i guess if you need unlimited texts and loads of minutes then its a pretty good deal. i only use about 200- 300 minutes and the same in texts, its unlimited data i'd need but thats about it. if someone can find it on a 12 month plan with 300 mins 300 texts and unlimited data with a free handset for £30/month then let me know!!! i wont hold my breath...

I don't *need* unlimited anything. But as I'm payg data atm, I actively avoid checking my mail etc when out and about and need wifi. Minutes, I use less than less of... maybe 200 lately. I get free calls in work and free calls off peak at home, so it's odd. Texts, I can send 1000s though.

X1, paid £26 for the phone, renewed my existing 18 month contract for another 18 months, £30pm contract.

One issue I had, the X1 suffered from a severe lack of signal reception, in places where I used to get full bar. Phoned Sony about it, first thing they suggested was to disable HSDPA, that didn't help. Phoned Vodafone, they confirmed that I have a very old SIM card (had it since 2002/3) and that they were supposed to have supplied an updated SIM card with the phone that will work a lot better with the X1. I'm waiting for this to arrive recorded deliver tomorrow and I'll post back to say whether it worked or not.

I don't think I can wait till Jan with O2. Vodafone are offering £35pm 600min unlimited txt n web.

And its black!

Shall I do it?
