Can't say i have,only really been up to glentress due to transport issues. Bike is in bits the now for a bearing change and i hope to get a car in the new year so i'm set to travel!

Playing wow does not = sado! Totallly depends on the person and how they get addicted stuff. Hardly the games fault that it is built to be addictive!

glentress is for Lycra types and small peons on there halfords rigs. Another 15 minutes would get you too innerleithen where all the big boys go. was there this weekend on my M6, always good times!

I know but the speed u can take down it on a big bike is quite funny. I haven't ridden too much and i dont have the confidence for inners quite yet. Once i get a car i will head down though.

Ive got the monday and tues booked of next week to get my game on sad i know but im on a training course thurs and fri so i cant get outta that and i would be very surprised if the servers stay stable them two days anyways.

Whats ya guess on the first lvl 80 ? didnt someone do 60-70 in about 1 day or so ?

Been running all the old preTBC instances all weekend. Great fun to go back to them.

Done - MC, AQ20, AQ40, DireMaul, Statholme.

Going to ZG tongiht on a mount run.

Spend 13hours constant raiding on Saturday. Clearing - KZ -> ZA -> AQ40 -> MC -> SSC -> MH (on my alt)

Can't get over how easy these places are now. Its a joke. Having t6 gear just makes heroics funny. I just run into a room pull everything, Thunderclap + Shockwave and the dps just AOE them.

The new talents really are mental for DPS. Had a hunter in Blue/greens in ZA doing 1200dps...


Anyone seen anyplans for a opening event to northend in the next few days? they must do something big like the portal opening?

There has to be an event really. But its just being kept hush hush for now. Personally i think its the best way. Makes it even more of a surprise

Yeah it was a french kid with his mage. He did it by having a few guild mates play for the entire day with him but out of group so the mage got all the exp. They just drank for mana, pulled lots etc etc for a full day non stop.

see i just dont see the point in that its proper sick. you means you miss everything the game has to offer just to be the first lvl 70.....

I wonder how he convinced the guildies to help him tbh. if i was asked to do it i would have told him where to stick his idea

The first 70 had members having go into a raid then him leave the group and would get mega experience, but it got nerfed. So he was the only one, practically.

I suspect they had extensive experience of the beta so had seen all the content already. I think you'd have had to have been in the beta to know the best places to go to level as well.

I am SO looking forward to this it is painful.

I am really struggling between chosing my shadow priest or warlock for my caster.

I have tons of mats for enchanting to give my Death Knight a push, TONS and TONS of cloth, some potions, that kind of stuff.

Question

Should I backup the addons folder when I install WOTLK? Or will they be fine (they are all obviously for WOTLK).
