I miss Safeway

Safeway was great, like £2 for 12 cans of Coke or Pepsi on alternate weeks.
Remember my mum waiting for the offers thing each week in the paper

Morrisons bought the safeway chain and had to keeps every store for a year(some law or what ever) Then they sold the smaller stores to Somerfield and whoever else wanted them.

They always had great BOGOF deals but they didn't make much money on them so when they stopped doing them people stopped shopping there and went to Asda.

Wouldn't it be like kinda amusing if every supermarket had like a 'Miss Supermarket' and there could be a 'Miss Safeway' and 'Miss Tesco' and so on...'Miss Lidl' would look ****.

Safeway was always the best.

Morrisons is too northern.

I miss the amazing Italian ice cream they did, tasted amazing unlike Walls Car Door muck.
