Who is going to use these NXE features?

:D

Got banned! Haha was fun thinking I was evading the ban wave but oh well. :p

Getting me a 360 Elite tomorrow, other is going back to the shop.

Ah well, cba modding the next one will just go legit and join a rental service for most games and buy others, got a LoveFilm trial. :)

On the plus side I really wanted a new 360 as mine had the old 20Gb hard drive, so at least now I'll be able to install some stuff. :D

I'm looking forward to it & I am usually against change.

HD loading means mine will quieten down a lot as it's the drive on mine which is noisy.
More chat is always a bonus for me as I like to chat & I'll create an Avatar as well because that'll be funny.

sorry to hijack but didnt want to make a new thread, is this causing xbox live to be down cos i cant connect but all the tests say everything is fine.

So that's it then? Piracy on the 360 is dead? (Assuming the user wants their console to connect to live at least)

It's exactly the same situation as before, nothing has really changed. Buy a new console, mod it and you will probably get away with it for a while until the next set of flags are triggered.

People seem to think that NXE is also some sort of anti-piracy measure, so far there is nothing to suggest that.

I was under the impression the last 'wave' was one big hit, taking out a portion of the people with modded consoles at the same time. This seems to be happening gradually, we have had people getting banned a few days back, today etc. Thought maybe there was a chance they had cottoned on to something? Guess not.

To be fair I hadn't switched on my 360 in about 4 days.

If you have scored anything at all, you can't remove the game.

Hence the statement :
AGGGHH Perfect Dark you will always haunt me (10gs IIRC)

I couldn't stand PDZ and am bloody annoyed that it is a blot on my GS history. All the other Full games I would willingly play through till I achieved all the reasonably acceptable achievements (i.e. anything that doesn't require me to set any online records or be the top of an online leader board) but I draw the line at PDZ
;)

Edit: I didn't get along with Oblivion either. I'm so relieved there wasn't an achievement for creating your character otherwise, I'd feel obliged to play it through.

How come they always catch you? You always seem to be banging on about how clever you are to have a modded 360 and how only stupid people get caught etc.

This is the problem with children like you these days, no sense of cvil responsibility. Something that you spent money on (or rather your parents money probably) and decided to modify illegally, at your own risk, you are now returning to the shop so someone else loses out. (company, retailer another consumer).

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time tbh. Young folk like you are one of the problems with this country at the moment tbh.

I have noticed with a few games Top Spin 2, PGR 4 that load times are quicker, noticed a slow down in COD 5 when I plaued it off the hard drive on SP

Agreed, I have no problem with people pirating, it's the "blame other people when it goes pear shaped" or "not my problem" attitude I dislike.

BTW, try loading Gears 2 to HDD, doesn't stop the texture loading slowness, but the time taken to load levels and even load the main game is much improved. Might be an extreme example but I REALLY NOTICED the difference with Gears.
