Oh no, what have I just ordered!!

With a mani and centre pipe (the usual restrictive part on a Honda), I would expect this to be loud but the bung should tone down the drone nicely if you aren't expecting power gains from it.

Thing is, why buy a straight through system and then put a cork in the end of it?

Well I'm not a prude when it comes to my rear exit. I had a similar problem and found a 2nd hand Magnex swin slash back box for £50 in mint condition and had that put on. They sell the bungs with the system so that can't be THAT restrictive. Spoon and other big brands do the same. I know they make a difference on a dyno for some cars but nothing you will notice from the right pedal.

Let hope you can find a nicer tailpipe but to be honest, it probably won't look that bad if you're not an OEM freak.

The pipework is 2.25 inches which is not massively bigger than the standard system, and apparently they pipes are nice and thick, and well made.
Very similar to maniford/downpipe i already have. Which is a lovely bit of kit!

Yes, i did, whats wrong with ebay?
Nah, standard is boring and would never have got a 30 post response :p

What's wrong with it is that it is an unbranded tin can, these parts are now labelled 'ebay' brand in american honda forums and are something which everyone swears to stay away from. I'm not slating you, i know first hand. I've bought one of these before promptly flogging it off. It's cheap for a reason, the welds are poor and as is the fitment. I've seen some hang ridiculously low. That bung will also do naff all, if it was a proper one then they do reduce the noise levels. However with those cuts in the end of it, it's only likely to make the deep exhaust tone more raspy.

I'd sell it on here for more and then get a standard replacement. That's if you're that bothered about it which i can only assume you are as you've put more thought into it than the average person who would buy one of these

It was far too loud but I miss it at times:o

RS*R though, not an Ebay job.

I've asked Santa for an Exhaust for my 5th Gen Prelude, was going to investigate the powerflow route as you can customise right? Anyone used a powerflow exhaust, how do they fair?
