Either way this version was in the arcades and never on a console...

It was on a console. It came out on the 3DO. I remember playing it in a games shop and being in awe at how arcade perfect it was.

Anyway, onto the next comment:

There were always hands in the Hadoken on Street Fighter II, only Ryu's in Super SF2 and Super SF2turbo didn't have them.

My Hori EX2 stick came yesterday, and it's awaiting the release. Not the best joystick I've used, but it's decent. Micro-switched buttons would have been nice, and the sanwa joystick i bought for a custom built stick is twice as good as the Hori joystick. The first thing I did (before even trying it) is take it apart to see if i could shoe horn in my sanwa stick and arcade button. No chance the buttons will go, but the stick should after drilling some fixing holes.

Slightly off-topic but Ive been playing SF Alpha on my PS3 recently but getting major pain in my left palm below my thumb - is this one of the DS3 pad quirks people complain about or have I got too old to play SF (so want this and SF4) :(.

Not a medical question - more should I get an arcade stick or something?

ps3ud0

Arcade sticks are just made so it's easier to pull off combos but it is a little easier on the hand, my suggestion is you're playing it too much :D.

I doubt it will in PSN Europe - USA will have it on the 27th, we will have it the week after...

I have a USA account and buy 90% of stuff on the USA store tbh (up until recently it was cheaper in most cases though). You can wait, I will be dragon-punching mofos the day this appears on PSN, regardless of region.

Hope the speed really ruins your combo timing :p

ps3ud0

online is gonna ruin everyones combo timing! especially a game like sf, which i remember has very very little give in timing

i hope the online portion is done well, but ill be getting this no matter what anyway just because it has to be done :D

Played the Beta online on 360 and seemed fine after an update or 2. Beta was just Ken and Ryu, but many people were pulling off the jump kick, crouch high punch, fireball combo with them, quite easily.
