Who moved from pc to console?

Tried to move from PC to 360, then bought a Wii.

The Wii got sold for being too simple, the 360 only gets used for Pro Evo. Nearly every game looks and plays better on PC, is cheaper to buy and free to play online so there's no substitute for me.

I moved over around a year ago due to the fact all my mates played on Xbox Live so I was left pc gaming with people I didnt actually know.

I still play Battlefield 2 now and again but other than that, all my gaming is done on my 360.

I moved over, haven't looked back since. Such a morepleasurable gaming experience. With PC's you tend to muck about ages - not actually playing the games you have, whereas with the console you pop it in and you are ready to rock.

I hate Xbox live most of the time though and try only to play with friends.

A mix of both.

There was a period of a couple of years before the current gen consoles came out where, apart from some retro gaming, I would almost always game on the PC.

Since the latest gen though they just fit into my life easier and are more convenient.

On a good, well calibrated TV, graphically there isn't a lot in it either.

I went to the 360 from the PC as well, nothing wrong with the PC, but all my mates went down that route, and the 360 has slowly taken over!

Not once do I wish the graphics where markably better, and am relatively happy with the level of performance, it's all about the gameplay for me, playing a game at 1920*1200 with 8xAA and AF doesn't make it a better game at all!

I did because I became a casual gamer and the PS3 suited me more. Now I dont have to worry about upgrading, patches, etc. ultimately I do prefer PC gaming, but its too costly to suit me.

Since selling my pc due to lack of space I play mostly on my 360 where it used to be an equal amount. I occasionally play Starcraft, Diablo 2 etc on my laptop.

I handed my PC down to family when I bought my 360 and haven't looked back. I also bought myself a nice laptop for the internet browsing, emails and work etc so you could say I didn't really leave the PC scene completely. I only buy 360 games though as opposed to PC games. I got sick of bugs, installing, having to upgrade, change drivers etc with the PC.

I like the idea of getting home, sitting on the sofa and playing console games online on a nice HDTV :D.

I bought a 360 for GTAIV but if a game is released on 360 and PC I'll get the PC version every time. Can't say I've had any issues with the last dozen PC games I've bought...install it and you're away.

I didn't move anywhere, just expanded my horizons for the rare exclusive releases.

I moved from pc gaming to console gaming for the exact same reasons as you. I will go back to pc gaming when the little one gets older :p

I game more on my 360 now. But i dont really play games much anymore (maybe an hour or two a week when i buy a new game)

Starting to pick up some 2nd hand games for 360 now i can install to HDD. Couldn't stand the noise before

I will deffo buy the next Microsoft console if its anything like the 360.

Still play some pc games e.g. old RPGS, and new adventure games like Lost Crown which was great. If that had came out on console though i would have bought it on console instead.

But the future is gaming in the living room not in the bedroom imo.

As im only 16, i've never really played games on PC, except for Desert storm or Desert Strike (Can't remeber which :D) on the Amiga 1200. That was such a good game :D And SWIV as well on the Amiga.

I've completed all the Half Life games as well, and occasionly play Counter Strike Source online. But i prefer playing on xbox live, as i don't have to keep paying to upgrade my console with new graphics cards etc. This could get very expensive.

Also, i don't know anyone who really plays games online on their computers so playing on Live means i can chat to all my friends as well as playing online.
