*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

Well at the moment I can't log either of my destro or order main chars into game, slightly miffed! Their response of "reinstall the client" was daft - but I humoured them anyway, uninstalled, wiped folder that had been left, reinstalled and oddly enough didn't make any difference.

I await their response, I've a feeling it'll take a few days for the next stupid idea :) Got to love GOA!

i just started WAR and one thing that seriously bugs me is that everyone in that game appears to be a mute, theres little to no social aspect to the game, i even went to a city which had a fair number of players in there and shouted "giving away 5 gold if someone starts a conversation" waited 10 minutes and not a peep.

Sometimes I have problems keeping the spam out of my screen, its' very hit and miss though. I tend to be more social in games, start conversations as it helps me get groups :D

I joined this game on the US servers as I had a lot of friends from another MMO move to WAR and its been really good service from them. We transfered the whole guild to a higher pop server the day it was available like 2 weeks or so ago. If we were stuck on the old server then it might have been a problem for the Eurosm, but no scenarios are popping non stop.

Being on a higher pop server makes a big diff so when you can move you will have more fun.

Stick with it, its early days yet and the launch was in no way the worse mmo launch - there have been some shockers recently.

Got my RP to R15 now. Had some fun with an RvR warband the other night for a t2 keep take, was still chaotic and not using voice comms just seems to completely remove the social aspect of it for me. Too used to just shouting stuff instead of having to /wb it I guess. :)

Bumped into the first R40 toon I've seen so far.. he was PQ'ing in a t3 (for heavy metal I guess) so I joined him so he could finish it that much quicker (he was IB, so I healed him allowing him to pull all the mobs and not just 3/4 of them at a time :p)

Level 21 IB now. Done a lot of Troll country, Ostland quests, and it seems all of the dwarf area quests. Most just don't justify the time spent though. I think T3 the rewards, etc will be a bit better so i'll do that for the first half of the tier. Troll country has over 10 open groups most of the time, ALL of these being RVR, ALL of these being groups of 2-3 people queueing for scenarios. Why? What is the point? It's still a pickup group.

If i remember right, T3 is better though, people know what they are doing more.

That Heavy metal is an ok idea, but having to re-roll a char, which is a tank, means i am not going to want to level the new tank. I would imagine many people would be like this. Still, guild picking up pace now, but definately need to do more grouping.

I'm (close to) doing T3 quests with my R15 RP ya noob. :p Doing quests that give minimum rank 17 rewards at the moment. South side of Marshes of Madness dwarf ch10 I think it is (might be ch9).

Done all of Troll Country and Ostland over the weekend.

I couldn't give a toss about heavy metal. If in later life I a) decide to continue playing when my sub runs out and b) get bored of my current char, and consider re-rolling, I'll look into it.

EDIT: Just read up on it.. it gives people a weeks advance on what everyone gets anyway.. wow.. how exciting. A whole week..

Yeh, plus i got football manager 2009 now, so i'm splitting time between two.

I am now reading: 'Tactical Theorems and Frameworks 09'. The game has become impossible lol.

Wayhey, Char and Guild transfers are in... now playing on Dragonback Mountains... did 3 scenarios in 15 minutes and won them all earlier today :D

The feeling is back :D

Had fun last night. It seems that more people are getting to grips with what role they are to play when in RvR (or at least Scenarios) as I only saw one or two people out of the 5 or so Scenarios I took part in not stay with the group, and do silly things. Did see a BW run straight up to an entire group of destro though.. managed to keep him alive long enough to kill 3 of them, but that was probably down to the ineffectiveness of the destro group than my leet healing skills. :p

One thing I don't get though, is even if I am constantly healing, and I mean really constantly, needing action pots, I can get just under 40k of healing points in 10mins done (at rank 15). Yet last night a rank 11 RP topped 55k healing in less than 10mins ... wtf?!

Don't know about the rune priest, but warrior priests get a few 'heals all allies within 20 feet' type spells, which can really rack up the points if you're in the middle of a big crowd, as it's all order characters within range, not just your group.

There's nothing like that for a rank 11 RP.. at 14 you get one that leaps from ally to ally for a maximum of 6 leaps, but no aoe heal.

edit: Just checked wardb, there's a couple of morale abilities that can do this for RP's, but not available until r20.

Pffftttt if you don't know how to do that, then your a n00b :p

Seriously though, the only way I can think he's done it is to spam his moral ability and had serious luck with HOT spamming, with everyone being kept alive... and all the gear he's got is willpower orientated.

Aye.. I've not got full gear yet.. not going to bother worrying about it much until into the high 20's. Though along the way I've picked up a few items that are not bad. toon info

I was just simply stunned that he had that much in so little time.

tbh the highest I've ever done was ~65k and that was fairly recent (lvl15). At 11 I was doing ~35k, so I guess he was lucky or heavily specced and buffed using good potions.

It might well be bugged too though. My shadow warrior regularly shows in results as having done between 1000 - 2000 healing, and that's without using any potions.
