Terrorist attack in Mumbai

You believe that crap, you even believe in that their is a GOD that created this universe.

More importantly do you know there isn't?

The fact is Christians have moved on, they dont believe in going to other countries and blowing its people to bits, where as Islam does no matter how you look at it, show me a christian suicide bomber in this world, the Muslim/Islamics seem to think they are due something instead of going out there and doing something about it in a non violent way.

Northern Ireland wasn't so long ago as to be lost from your memory was it?

Apparently while the events didn't slip your mind, the religious elements of them did... how curious.

No, and i don't believe there isn't one.

I don't believe that I posses the wisdom to decide the answer to that question either. So i will sit and observe, till i feel I've gained it, or more likely I reach the point where the answer will be made clear, for better or worse.

Fair enough, thats an open outlook i find a lot of people dont have.

I do find it wierd that the IRA are seen as just terrorists and as those who didnt have any religious elements at all, they are never regarded as 'christian terrrorists'. Its just the norm now to label any terrorist 'an islamic terrorist/fundamentalist', its whats in fashion in the media. The problem is its just not helping cos good muslims and people are getting labelled as terrorists or are getting discriminated against due to the minds of idiots and the media fuelling this drivel.

They do out number us though...

And control a large part of our fuel supply...
Sauce?

When you say us I assume you mean Christians?

I was under the impression that Islam recently surpassed Catholicism in terms of followers but is still outnumbered by Christians?

I meant more Britain/others who fought in the crusades.

Was more of an offhand comment, as obviously you wouldn't get all of either to fight.

In fact you'd probably find more Christians against the genocide than for it.:p

After watching the live CNN news-cast from cnn live(http://edition.cnn.com/video/flashLive/live.html?stream=stream2) from the main CNN outlet in India (CNN-IBN) - they say that the officials and government CANNOT confirm that this was done by "Deccan Mujahadeen" and the ATS security (people in charge of operations in the area where the incidents are happening) are saying that they are trying to trace 4 emails and their IP location, and after they have done a full investigation then they will advise everyone who has actually done the attack.

Just looking at some pictures on cnn and found this picture,

would this be Indian police using World War I Lee Enfield bolt action rifles?

They do look like Lee Enfields.

I saw in another photo someone ask the same question - they got replied to with "they look like 303's".

I'm not sure what a 303 looks like, I'll go look.

edit; it seems 303 is just the round that it takes.

Gunmen from the little-known Deccan Mujahideen terrorist group opened fire indiscriminately at seven sites, killing at least 80 people and injuring at least 200, including two Australians.

Hostages are still being held in the Taj Mahal Palace and Oberoi luxury hotels and the chief minister of Maharashtra state says the situation in the city is still not under control.

Police said they had shot dead four gunmen and arrested nine suspects. They said 12 police were killed, including Hemant Karkare, the chief of the police anti-terrorist squad in Mumbai.

"The situation is still not under control and we are trying to flush out any more terrorists hiding inside the two hotels," said Vilasrao Deshmukh, Maharashtra state's chief minister.

Mr Deshmukh told a news conference the situation was not yet contained.

"It is very difficult to say how many terrorists are holed up in the two hotels," he added, although Indian Home Minister Shivraj Patil earlier said there were around four or five attackers in each.

"We have shot dead four terrorists and managed to arrest nine suspected terrorists," PD Ghadge, a police officer at Mumbai's central control room, said.

Just watched the full story on BBC America, Must say I do hate muslims.

Also why do the Indian Police use such crappy weapons, I also saw them engaged in gun fire wearing nothing more then a helmet!?! They need to invest in some decent gear.

terrorists want attention, so dont speak or discuss them in public, if they killed 10,000 people and there was no media about it, no-one would know, the terrorists would be sad!

thread should be deleted to set an example

Is that all you do, just cut & paste an article then add the "source" link?

aye, we used to actually get a fair it of analysis from evan, but now we just get links. Kinda miss it ya know he did have some semi decent perspectives.

And as annoyed as it makes me, I find myself agreeing with platinum more and more lately :/

Do you actually know any muslims?? If you base your feelings on news reports then, well i dont know what to say, its shocking!!

Tell me, do you have any sympathy for any muslims affected / injured / killed by this tragedy??

Platinum you have a strong point there; unfortunately you cannot have any press about it, because that would be unethical, think of all the relatives who would be worried in this situation...
