Didn't you know that everything in life can be generalized? All wow players need simpe stuff. Gamers in general aren't social... and so on.

As someone that does (small) amount of theory crafting, and seeing what elitistjerks do for "fun" I find it amusing someone can state that basically all wow players need a nice simple game :/

Not to say this game is terrible, My original comment was to state that they should have staggered the release by a month or so though.

Just as if I was releasing on a console game, I wouldn't release it within a week or 2 within a well know game, lik Gears of war or Metal Gear 4.

I'm quite obviously not generalising across all WoW players, I'm stating those who want to play a simple MMO casually (a large percentage of WOW's subscribers these days) will find TCoS a little too hard to get into.

P.S. Theorycraft does not make WoW a 'clever' game.

Spellborn International really don't seem to be batting for the mainstream market. They appear to be doing their own thing, making the game they want to make, and giving it to the players who want to play it - i.e. the people who want to try the FPS MMO style. Some of those people find that more interesting than the WoW style of gameplay (which has been around for years) and so will play TCoS. I don't understand how you know their plans better than they do.

Edit: Let's try to make this thread a little less about the competition and a bit more about the game its devoted to.

Looking forward to this. Only found out today that the NA UK AUS and NZ will all be done by acclaim and is put back to Jan?!

What does this mean like will I be able to play in November with the rest of the europeons on like an english speaking server? or will the game all be in french and german?

Kinda confused atm any1 with some inside info that can shed some light

Sorry for uber bumpage but didn't want to annoy you all with another thread. This was supposed to be released today but they couldn't get enough plastic.

But it's coming out the 5th I think. So it's not long now. Thought I'd remind you all.

No the US beta is prob on the 5th which is if you live in the UK will be in. The game for us will be in Jan. It only released for the western euro's on the 5th of dec

Open beta has finished, doesn't have uk release but we're apart of the eu now so we will see it at the same time I beleive.

and Chris you are one of the worse WoW troll fanboys ever. FYI I have had far more fun in 'failed' mmorpgs than I ever did playing WoW. Its people like you that make me want to keep steering well clear of WoW, giving the game such a bad rep for attracting the most idiotic simplistic people.
