How much? Just sold him to Sunderland for £7.5m. :D

And Fletcher to Man City for £33m. £7.75m up front and then £25.5m or whatever over 24 months! :D

Utter *****.

£5m and i only got 10 for Fletcher :o
I came to end of first season and had hardly played O'Shea with Evra being pretty decent, Fabio covering for easy games and then Sakho taking any spare games so I thought rather than keep him and risk him getting annoyed and upsetting squad I offered him out. Sunderland came in with that offer so off he went. Didn't know my 2nd season budget so £7.5m was handy and got £20k ish off budget.

Then I'd heard in the Man Utd thread in the Good players and team sub-forum of SI Games' forum that if you listed Fletcher at the beginning of a game for between £30-40m that either Tottenham or Man City would say yes please! :D

Got bored with my Man Utd season and eventually quit in 2013 after winning just 1 trophy - the League Cup lol. Then went to Stoke who were 21st in the Championship, got them up to 12th in about 15 games, then went to Bolton in the same season who had sacked their manager after getting them into the play-offs. I won the play-offs and now suck in the Premiership. :(

Has anyone had the game freeze going into Match mode?

I seemed to be able to start the match okay with a 4-4-2 formation but if I switched to 5-3-2 the game just freezes when you try to start.

Otherwise very good. Have started with Darlington which is a real challenge - the main squad is only 18 players two of whom have injuries. I've been given a £0 budget by the board for transfers so the only option is to try and work out how to get players back from the reserves (I've picked a couple of likely lads from the youth team, but their contracts don't start straight away).

Who'd you grab from Fulham?

Could be worth having a go at getting a couple of their reserves, as they let them go cheaply in first two seasons.

Gabriel Zakuani < quality center back / right back

worth a couple of mil, but I have zero cash as Sheffield Wednesday :(

Well, now that the game has been out for 2 weeks I thought we could get an update from everyone on their games (who they are, how far in they are, starting XI, any good signings made type of thing).

I thought that if we could get it all in one block it would make it easier for people to find some players of a similar level to the league they play in. That and I want to see who people are managing at the moment.

I only gave in to temptation and opened the game yesterday and started my customary first game with Lyon. So will start:

Club: Olympique Lyonnais
League: French Lique 1
Leagues Running: All of France, England and Italy
Progress: 1 week away from start of 1st season
Signings Made: Marcelo (Real Madrid £4.4m)

Starting XI:
GK: Hugo Lloris
DL: Marcelo
DC: Cris
DC: John Mensah
DR: Anthony Revelliere
MR: Cesar Delgado
MC: Jeremy Toulalan
MC: Juninho
ML: Kim Kallstrom
FC: Fred
FC: Karim Benzema

Club: Man Utd
League: Premier League
Leagues Running: England, Italy, Spain, Brazil
Progress: Jan 2009
Signings Made: IN - Rafinha (Shalke £12.25m), Mario Balotelli (Inter - £15m), Jozy Altidore (Villarreal - Loan), Sergio Asenjo (Valladolid - £5.75m), Keirrison (Cortiba - £3m), Ismail Aissati (Ajax - £3m)

OUT - Carlos Tevez (R. Madrid - 22m)

Starting XI:
GK: Van Der Sar
DL: Evra
DC: Ferdinand
DC: Vidic
DR: Rafinha
MR: C. Ronaldo
MC: Hargreaves
MC: Aissati / Anderson
ML: Nani / Giggs
FC: Rooney
FC: Berbatov / Balotelli

Not too much change yet in terms of starting XI. Asenjo will take over from VdS next season hopefully, Rafinha the only full time change so far. All other signings for future. Just accepted a £25m bid from Inter for Nani, so will look into replacing him before the end of Jan if it goes through.

Vela is an absolute menace on FM2009 - In my game im having with a mate, he's on fire with Wolves and is ripping into every team he's played against.

Right, finally sorted and playing my friendlies for the second season. First season went well, change of tactics this time around to keep the computer guessing rather than destroying me this season for using the exact same style. Got some new players in, and thankfully my team is still "a strong understanding" for coordination which is good - especially considering I've brought in about 8 players, granted some are young and not the main squad.

Thiago Silva is a 5 star (6 star potential) central defender, and Sakho is a 6 star (7 star potential) left/central defender... so basically ripped my defence apart this season. I did great for scoring last season, scored the most in the league, but also left in WAY too many and I think it's down to having Ferdinand and Nosworthy as the centre backs. Kept Ferdinand for backup / rotation and sold Nosworth. Glad to get rid of all the dead weight from the reserves, and filled it up again with potentially good regens / players. Joey de Wit along with Sakho are my star buys, but more so Joey as he cost nothing (found him floating around in the reserves of Marseille with no contract), Tony Loughlan said "definite purchase" so snapped him up on a 4 year / £13.75k p/w deal :D

Anyone around who has downloaded the 18,000 word TTF Document of the SI Games website that they will email to me? I am into a long afternoon at work with nothing to do except supervising and cannot access the relevant website. Email in trust.

Can't, the trust doesn't show your email address, only allows me to send you a message via the forum.

Hello.

Quick few questions:

How do you find good regen players?
Where did you get the logo for the Premier League?

THANKS
