** FIFA 2009 League ** (360) - That time again!

Oh yes!

What a couple of games.

First game Da Mic takes an early lead, then i pull it back, and end up 3-1 up, final score 3-5 to Da Mic.

Second game i score early, and get another to set up a tense finish, we hit injury time and i get the 3rd, and goal to send me through to the semi's.

Good couple of games, dunno what was up with my defence in the first game, your strikers were on fire!

First Game Mark at home

Mark 3- Mic5

Second game Mark away

Mark 3 - Mic0

Mark wins 6-5 on AGG

Bah, literally last min of the 2nd game mark tackles my striker on the halfway line which was a 100% foul, then proceeded to play it in the box, bounched around only for his striker to pick it up 5 yards from goal and hammer home

GAAAHHH

Oh and the amount of times I hit the bar/post / didn't finish 1 on 1's makes it even more harder to swallow

Its a strange old game, first game i couldnt contain you at all, second game my goalie and my crossbar had a peach.

My second goal was worthy of going through though, beautiful cross/finish.

it was weird wasn't it, you totally dominated me in the 2nd game, but then all of a sudden I should have been 2 goals up or so within 5 minutes on the break

I'd have to go with Mark against ooo Rob75 (haven't looked at the other side of the draw) for the final, no offense but I'm going for mark to beat joker, don't know twinblade's skill so can't comment if he were to beat joker

Yeah, while jockying you side step and back peddle like defenders do in real life instead of lunging in and being made to look stupid. Of course you can't defend like that all the time but it does keep your players in their position for the most part and combine good jockying with well timed tackles you tend to win the ball back easily. However as I've said it's not full proof and you can still be made to look silly, again, just like in real life.
 
utajoker, sorry I wasnt around last night, my little one has caught chicken pox and wouldnt settle so didnt want to risk playing and needing to disappear mid game.

Should be able to make it tonight though.
