From what I remember the competition was dire. I suppose they could have put the iPod up against a Zune for some fair competition.

It's not a serious review program in the same way Top Gear isn't a serious review platform for car reviews.

It's so funny when geeks take objection to a simplified piece of entertainment designed for the generally un-educated masses. It's prime time TV for crying out loud. If it was absolutely, technically, factually correct... no one would watch!

I did enjoy the one they did with tents where they poured thousands of gallons down a hill onto them...with each of them in their own little tents..made me lol anyway

But that is what I have a problem with, their bias view point is teaching the ill-informed that anything made by Apple is better than everything else, almost by default, when other companies make products which are just as good, if not better.

One week they said the Iphone was rubbish then the next brillliant. I suspect Apple pay them and other media outlets lots of cash to say Apple is great, because let's face it, it isn't.

You can watch it online and skip all the adverts and the competition !

The reason i stopped watching the show was because of the stupidly good, and unecessarily long, list of prizes! Every week i would text in, sometimes twice, they seduce me

I never try for the prizes because if they spend £15,000 on prizes, then chances are they have many tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of people entering into the stupidly easy competitions. So chance of winning is very slim. Also if i ever did try the competition and i did win, 80% of the items are rubish and i would end up just ebaying them.

I've always found they are some of the best of their types. The question is do you really want one of the best kites or tents but you can't knock their quality.

I would end up selling a third of the prizes just on the basis that they were no use to me, not that they were rubbish.

I said 80% of the items are rubbish because to me, 80% of the items i would just throw away or sell on ebay. It Wasn't the best term to use, since some of the items are good, but if they serve no real use to me, and would just get in my way then to me they are rubbish.
