** FIFA 2009 League ** (360) - That time again!

It goes without saying that I will be involved in the next league/cup.

Ideally I would like to stay with Udinese but I am pretty sure that won't happen. (However, given as I should be seeded, if we implemented that, I should be allowed to keep them).

Are we keeping with the Champions League format for the next one, or reverting to the league format?

I prefer the Cup format, although the League format is ok. However, we always seem to have problems with the League formats and getting people to finish games. Looking back, once people realise they have no realistic chance of winning it their interest and motivation to complete their fixtures disappears.
 
I won't be able to take part in the next competition unless it will be completed by the 18th as I'm away home for Christmas until the 7th of Jan and will be without my 360. :)
 
One thing I have really enjoyed, is the home and away hosting which has taken place. I think that's a pretty good idea and whoever thought of it, is a genius... ahem ;)
 
its 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other tbh, in a league you get more games but its a lot harder to get games done, chasing people up etc.

in a cup, its easy to complete but if your out in the group stage its a bit pants.

i personaly prefered a league because you atleast got to play a good majority of proper games and not worry of quiters/unsportsmanlike players

also agree with hilly, the home and away hosting was a good idea and i felt in my games it made a difference some how.

i propose a league not using the fifa one but done like we did the cup then we can play each person twice for home and away
 
I'd prefer 2 rounds of group stages. But then of course if you go out in the first stage you have to wait even longer before the next tourney. :/

GG mate wp. Thought I was a bit unlucky on your third goal, as it looekd a mile offside. You outplayed meo n the 2nd leg after I gave away a cheap goal for you. Should have taken it really.

Most challenging game defensively I've had in a long long time. The first game I let your reputation scare me into putting in a deep defensive line and it cost me the first goal due to the attackers backing off. After a while of probing your deep defence I figured out your weak spot which allowed me to get so many 1v1 ones in the seond leg. We both had so many chances the score could have ended up 8-8 lol.

Ahh Twinblade, no doubt he'll want to spank me after the 5-0 thrashing I gave him in the first league, I wish I hadn't done that now.

I can play Friday, not sure about Thursday night and definitely not tomorrow night unfortunately.
