GTA has such a huge following too, they could capitalise on that. Especially with vids from GTA4 and various other bits. Maybe even a mods section!

It's a shame because now because it's a ported pos it's going to sell badly, which means they're going to claim pc gaming is dieing which is a self furfilling prophecy

Just saying that everyone who has the game one way or another is experiencing the same issues as those who bought it. The last 10 odd pages here talk about the FPS issues. There are on known fixes as of yet.

do you think they may of coded it no to work properly until 24hrs after activation, after then its been released all over the world
that way, if u tried to crack it within 24hrs and did you would have a poor performing game ?

looks like they didnt learn from that crappy gta 3 port they did years ago.
I can hounestly say i wont be paying for this crap, but will be trying it just to lol.
Tbh i was never that impressed with this on the consoles i saw it on, very blocky graphics in areas and horrid boring plain grey feel. Also it didnt have the charm the older games had, the silly cartoonish theams.
Nothing came close to vice city.

This thread ilustrates perfectly why it's sad and fruitless spending months pining after a video game.
Not an impossible theory. Pretty sure there was a game where if you downloaded it and used a particular crack made by devs to catch you out, the performance slowly deteriorated. Could just have been my imagination though

Well, it being dark introduces more lighting objects which in most engines would mean the fps would drop, so you might get away with it. Still, looks gash

And I'm about to run the game in low to see if it is playable, no I am not kidding. Found other forums and apparently the performance issue is widespread!
