That just makes my point even better really, doesn't it? I don't actually know how it'll run on my current system because I've already played through and completed it. It could do 1000fps, it will make no difference to me just as the performance of GTAIV in 2 years time will make no difference to me.
 
Crysis 1900X1080 Very High settings 40+fps here. not that I care, because like FOX I stopped playing it ages ago.

But I do want to play GTA4, (even though I have played it on console), I can't wait for all the cool mods

I'd be one being involved in these mods, but not if I can't run the game well :(

Booted into linux of a USB stick and it reads disc2 !!!

So copied of onto a share and installing from that....

So the countdown to the BSOD/RMN10 errors continues :rolleyes:

I'm so glad that I'm at working and thus can't play it anyway, as the download speeds I've been getting (been checking via RDP) from steam are nothing but shonky, and it keeps dropping out. :mad:

Not that I'm looking forward to how it runs on my machine anyway (in sig).

Mine runs perfectly with all four populated.
 
It's not our PC's what are the problem here,It's rockstar who have done a really bad job in making it!Whats the point in going out and spending about £300 on a 280 just to play this,When other cards,Like mine "8800GT" Can handle all the current games,Excluding GTA4
 
After a 5 minute go on the 360 I know this game will frustrate me to some degree. For example flying down the road for about half a block when you fall off your bike, going through the windscreen when you crash and most of the cars don't go round corners.

But I'm still looking forward to sinking my teeth into it and try to pretend it is a totally new game and has nothing todo with the old ones. If not I'll end up hating it.

I'm sure that the PC community will do its usual and most niggles will be fixed with mods. I would like the handling fixed first. If console owners were jealous of anything it would be the fact we can mod it.

Yea get a benchmark thread up, no CPU's above 3Ghz or any high end GPU's in that thread, would like to see how it handles with people's specs on this forum.
